Dana Rosenthal started dancing at age 3 and is trained in hip hop, jazz, poms, ballet, tap, and musical theatre. She currently teaches beginning hip hop at Debbie Reynolds’ Studio and Occidental College where she also coaches the dance team. Since the age of 16, she has taught and choreographed for all ages working with many studios, schools and hip hop groups throughout Chicago & Los Angeles. Starting out as a dance major, she graduated from the University of Iowa and was a dancer & co-director of Hip Hop ConnXion Chicago. Dana moved to LA in 2006 to pursue dance which has led her to work for Hip Hop International (creators/producers of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew) with whom she annually helps produce the World Hip Hop Dance Championship. She recently choreographed the Nintendo Wii games Just Dance for Kids and Smurf Dance Party. Dance is Dana’s passion and she is happy whenever she can teach, perform and share it with people.
